Description: Yellow-toned reproduction of a detail of zoomorphic interlace with a hound-like animal. A vertical tear in the paper along the right edge reveals dark brown backing and it is emphasized with a wash of brown pigment in the upper portion. Six brown circles are in the upper left, and small dots of white paint are scattered throughout. Frame: Gilded wood frame with red bole and exaggerated grain. Linen liner edged with white on inside and gold on the outside. Back: Mottled blue backing board with areas of blue watercolor wash at top, right, and bottom. Faint lines of black writing are visible at left. A rectangular horizontal photograph is affixed at lower left with a black and white image of zoomorphic interlace (the larger view of the front image). The image is outlined in yellow, blue, and black, with illegible orange text at lower left.
