profile of a woman facing right, with black hair styled in an elaborate up swept fashion, wearing long robe red at top and pink at bottom, her hands hidden under robe; scroll is bordered by two thin horizontal pieces of brocaded material; this material has an ornate background of gold thread; material can also be seen in the two vertical strips which hang at the top of the scroll; next the image is surrounded on all four sides by a black silk border; the final border is an olive green strip of silk at the bottom and light green strip at the top; woman; costume/uniform
