Description:
Hand-colored fashion plate from "Costume Parisien" dated "1812." and numbered "(19.)" depicting a fashionably dressed woman jn a spencer and man (each numbered 1-2). Fashion plates appearing in Le Journal des Dames et de Modes (1797-1839) were titled “Costume Parisien.” The accompanying description no longer survives.
