Description:
One of a pair of samplers, by twin sisters, Clarissa Ann Munroe and Mary Jane Munroe, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, dated 1835. Silk on linen. Embroidered, "Jesus permit thy gracious name to stand.." with flowers and strawberries around the border. Faded condition.
