SKINNER CATALOGUE: A small set of scales, with apothecaries weights, used by Joseph A. Skinner as a youth, when interested in photography, about 1880. The wooden box, with fine wire hinges and brass hook, contains the balance scales, with steel arms, brass plates, to be suspended by three threads from the arms, and brass weights - in drams, 2 and 1. in scruples, 2, 1, and 1/2. in grains 6, 5, 4, and 2. Length of arms 6 1/8". Diam. plates 2 1/2". Box 6 1/2" x 3" x 1 1/4". Cat. 7/15/1937.
