Description:
A stooped elderly man cranks the lever of his hurdy-gurdy instrument with his proper right hand as he holds out a hat in the other for money. His head is bowed and his eyes are closed. In the background are a man and a woman, his audience, looking at each other. They wear fine, expensive clothing, unlike the tattered poor clothing of the busker. Economic class, street performance, poverty
