Description:
Long, blunt wooden beater carved to an edge on both sides with a long narrow, rounded handle, which was formerly owned in the Boyden-May-Williams house on Conway Road, Rt. 116 in Deerfield.. It was probably used to smooth feather tickings, or to beat the dust from rugs or bed clothing.
