Description:
Quilted petticoat made of reddish-brown, twill woven wool with four small bone (probably) buttons on the waistband and a center back placket with black button used to secure the petticoat to a corset; cotton batting; and lined with a matching rust twill weave wool and a densely patterned cotton in red, maroon, green and white lining the top 3/4 of the petticoat. The quilting is done in a simple design with the top half stitched in vertical chanels, and the botton half, in horizontal rows, in worsted or cotton thread.
