Description:
Small black wool felt hat with upturned back brim and strap. The hat is decorated with feathers and beads to simulate a pair of nesting birds. A black veil extends from the back upturn across to the front. Black grosgrain hatband inside. Label: "Best & Co. / Fifth Ave. / New York" and another, smaller label: "registered / model / B." Worn by Helen Geier Flynt.
