Description:
The Janus-headed or bifrons terminal contains a carved headdress in which four antelope horns, filled with "medicines", are embedded. Below the "neck" is additional fur decoration. These added materials to the carved element are known as nikisi, which when combined with figure form an object that is empowered to discern, know, hunt, and protect.
