Description:
A seated nude female figure holds a bowl in outstretched arms which would have been filled with kaolin powder used by the diviner to mark his face for and during the rite. She holds as well as embodies the container of spiritual power, During a divination rite, the bowl figure would be placed next to the diviner, accompanied by his wife.
