Description:
Studies of two male figures bending and sitting. At the upper left of the sheet, a standing male figure bends down, his back to the viewer, as if to tie his shoe. At upper right, a young, seated male figure depicted in profile hugs his knees to his chest with his arms wrapped around both knees. At lower left, another study of the male figure depicted at upper left is visible, again tying his shoe, but viewed from the opposite side. At lower right, a bald male figure dressed in baggy clothes sits with his proper left leg tucked beneath him and his proper right leg bent at a ninety-degree angle as he adjusts the hem of his pants with his proper left hand. A second study of the same male figure's head is visible to the immediate right of the first.
