Dutch delft or tin-glazed earthenware plate decorated with a parrot on a tree branch with flowers in red, yellow, green; the border pattern is alternating diamond diapering pattern with a Chinese Taoist symbol (similar to symbols seen on kraak porcelain pieces), this plate has no footrim and is commonly called in Dutch a "pannekoeken" plate or pancake plate
