Description:
J-473. A mitate (parody) version of Shojo mythical creatures who live near the sea and who possess an inordinated taste for spirits. Although usually depicted as orangutan-like in appearance, here they are maidens boating in a sake cup (sakazuki). A young man, seated on the shore by a great jar of sake, looks on to his amusement.
