Description:
White felspathic stoneware sugar bowl with an octagonal lid with a molded flower finial and molded border of fern-like foliage; gallery rim with a sawtooth edge border of molded diamonds picked out in blue enamel; octagonal-shaped molded body with reserves of a classically inspired scene of satyrs and nymphs in an outdoor setting and a tavern scene on the reverse side, which are interspersed with tall vine-like plants; and a repeating border of fern-like foliage around the flat base.
