Label Text:
The image was created with three different negatives scanned into a computer. Text was added to the digitized composite image and then the image was printed with an ink jet printer. The artist photographed regional areas that were familiar, Northampton, Hadley, and Hatfield, Massachusetts to explore the human histories embedded in the land. The artist sees this work as "fictional archeologies of the inhabited earth."
