Label Text:
Fratelli Alinari (Alinari Brothers) was a photography firm comprising the three brothers Giuseppe (1836–1890), Leopoldo (1832–1865), and Romualdo (1830–1891). Based in Florence, the firm photographed the architecture, landscapes, and cultural heritage of major Italian cities. Today, Fratelli Alinari is the oldest photography firm in the world, surviving in the form of a comprehensive photography archive and as a publisher of art books and limited-edition reproductions.
