Description:
This stamp seal has an open X design with a small X groove inside. It is made of copper alloy and in highly oxidized. The back has a flat X design with an intact handle. It would have been used by the rich and poor alike in all transactions of business and correspondence. These seals were worn by their owners on strings of leather (or other materials) around the neck, wrist or pinned to a garment. This made the seal available at all times as a signature on a document or to legitimize a business deal.
