A vertical black-and-white book illustration (left page): a young boy (wakashu?) tying a tanzaku verse on the branch of a cherry tree; a bamboo basket is partly visible behind his kimono; the kimono of the courtesan (from the right page) is visible here. Published by Suhara Mohe of Edo and Onogi Ichibe of Osaka. This print goes with MH 1997.1.4
