Description:
A vertical black-and-white book illustration (right page): a courtesan lying on the floor with her eyes closed with a brush in her right hand. A poem has been composed on the sheet of paper in front of her, with a lacquer box of writing materials. Published by Suhara Mohe of Edo and Onogi Ichibe of Osaka. This book illustration goes with MH 1997.1.5
