A deed conveying a certain tract of land "lying in the South East (part) of the Great Meadow originally laid out (by) Samuel Porter Esqr. of Hadley," from Jonathan Selden of South Hadley in the Second Parish in the County of Hampshire & Province of the Massachusetts Bay in New England Husbandman to William Eastman Trader-in consideration of ten pounds. Second day of March in the seventh year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third, of Great Britain, etc. Annoq; Domini One Thousand seven hundred and Sixty Seven. Witness: Joseph Hillyard and Aaron White. Cat. 11/5/1937.
