Description:
Goldthwait, born in Longmeadow, may have engraved the map when he worked on George Colton's map of the neighboring town of Springfield. Colton published his map in Springfield in 1835; place of publication of the Longmeadow map is unlisted. Wall map mounted on wooden rollers. Depicts the town of Longmeadow from the Connecticut River to the border of Wilbraham, MA. Roads, streams, and buildings with the names of owners or occupants are included.
