Description:
Woman's one-piece undergarment, a hybrid of a camisole and knickers, known variously as cami-knickers, chemise-knickers or step-ins. These simpler and more practical undergarments (still worn over some kind of corset) fit in perfectly with the streamlined, straight and slightly unfitted chemise dresses of the 1920s.
