Description:
Vertical oval carved shell cameo (unset) with profile portrait of a woman. Her hair is pulled back into a bun with three hanging tendrils and she wears two leaf-frond ornaments, one of over the top of the head, one toward the front. She wears a simple crossover garment with mid-level neckline. Background is buff-colored, figure is mottled white and orange/brown colors from the natural shell.
