Description:
Silver spoon with an elliptical bowl with a drop and shell and spatulate-end midrib handle, which is marked "IB" for Jacob Boelen, II (1733-1786), and engraved with the initials "MC" on the handle. Jacob was the son of silversmith Henricus Boelen (1697-1755) and grandson of silversmith, Jacob Boelen (c.1657-1729).
