Description:
Circular gray-colored medal, obverse depicts Isaac Hull in profile in his military uniform; around the exterior of the medal are the words, "ISAACUS HULL PERITOS ARTE SUPERAT JUL MDCCCXII AUG. CERTAMINE FORTES," on the reverse is a depiction of a battle of an English and American sailing vessels , around the upper edge is the inscription, "HORAE MOMENTO VICTORIA" and below "INTER CONST. NAV. AMER/ ET CUER ANGL," according to William Guthman - the donor- this piece is possibly a fake.
