Description:
Pair of brass andirons with small finials over multi-knopped plinths, cabriole legs with two outside spurs and ball feet, and stepped iron billet bars. These andirons are typical of a late Empire and early Victorian design. These were used at the Deerfield Inn in the 1960s and 70s; the original accession number is no longer visible (this number assigned in 1981).
