Description:
Photograph of the exterior of Stebbins House from the south end with three women and a man standing in front of the picket fence. Three are identified as Luke Wright (1801-1878) and his wife, Mary Ann (1804-1887), a daughter of Asa Stebbins (1767-1844), and Miss Jane Merrill. There are Internal Revenue stamps on the reverse. The brick house, built by Asa Stebbins in 1799, descended to his son Roland (1794-1848); in 1851, Luke and Mary Ann Wright were granted a life lease.
