Description:
Bow-back Windsor side chair with seven spindles, painted dark green and marked on the bottom: "Abigail Stratton." Abigail Stebbins Stratton (1755-1826) was the daughter of Joseph Stebbins (1718-1797) of Deerfield and Mary Stratton Stebbins (1726-1797) of Northfield, Massachusetts. Abigail married Elijah Stratton on April 16, 1778.
