Description:
Commemortative t-shirt commemorating Historic Deerfield's participation in the 44th Annual Winter Antiques Show, held at New York City's Seventh Regiment Armory (Park Avenue and 63rd Street) from January 16-25, 1998. Historic Deerfield was the featured loan show exhibition for the event. The front of the t-shirt features a picture of a high chest of drawers (acc. no.94.002) with the caption "Highboys are Us! at Historic Deerfield Massachusetts" (a colloquial term for this kind of furniture). On the back, the text reads "The 44th Annual Winter Antiques Show Seventh Regiment Armory New York City January 16-26, 1998." The garment bears the Fruit of the Loom label, which indicates it was made in Jamaica.
