Description:
Spanish real silver coin depicting Carolus III or Carlos/Charles III, King of Spain who reigned from 1759-1788. On the back of the coin is the coat of arms for the Spanish royal family. Found in the Barnard Tavern foundation frame (above basement entrance) on south side by Historic Deerfield maintenance staff performing restoration work in July 2013.
