Description:
Enameled mesh purse made by the Mandalian Manufacturing Company of North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Owned by the step? grandmother of the donor, and its survival among related items in Historic Deerfield's collection and blue color suggest it may have been used on the wedding day of Ruth Searles Smead (1899-1991) of Greenfield, Massachusetts on August 28, 1926.
