Description:
Hinged bronze bullet mold composed of a dozen graduated cavities to cast lead "buck and ball," which descended in the family of General Israel Putnam (1718-1790) along with his powder horn (HD 2005.20.9). These artifacts were purchased in 1988 from a Putnam family descendent by William H. Guthman.
