Black-and-white postcard of a drawing by Steve Maniatty of the Brick Church in Deerfield. 2 identical postcards (.1 and .2). On the back of each: "RED BRICK CHURCH - 1823----The earliest church/in Deerfield was burned in 1704. On the return of/the captives, it was replaced by a simple structure./This larger Brick church became necessary later/and the site selected was the highest point of land/in the Stockade near the north gate, although the/stockade had long since been removed." in the stamp placement rectangle" "PLACE/ONE CENT/STAMP/HERE".
