Description:
Small unframed oil painting of the fireplace wall in Miss C. Alice Baker's (1833-1909) kitchen, which as been attributed to Vincent Augustus Tack (1870-1949). Don Friary thought it to be by Susan Minot Lane (1832-1893), life-long friend and companion of Miss C. Alice Baker (1833-1909).
