Inside a cardboard box, in green and pink floral with a girl with a mirror on the top: two pages of Hawaiian language document; two wooden bead bracelets tied together; a Jacob's ladder, now broken, with images of women in kimonos; a pane of red glass; two pieces of coarse cloth, possibly made from bark; a Bible verse on a card, in Hawaiian; handwritten notes on Hawaii; a print of a photograph en route to Santa Cruz; an advertisement for the geysers of California; a letter to Miss Annie Ackman, with a folded school lesson; a postcard of a rocking chair with arms, in an envelope; a blank bill of the quarterly returns of the post office; a newspaper from Hawaii, in Hawaiian; a photograph of General Fremont, wife, and daughter, likely a tourist print; printed picture; and an envelope of Pele's Hair - fine glass thrown out of a volcano in Kailua.
