Description:
Imberline? Pieces of this material have been used by the founders of the museum for the curtains in the Allen House second floor, northwest chamber. The material was purchased from a dealer in Paris, Mme A. Niclausse. Selvage width is fairly narrow, at 18". F.165.1 is a roll with the remaining fabric. F.165.2-.5 consist of the four pairs of curtains at the Allen House, northwest chamber. F.165.6 is a fragment of the fabric in the cradle in Allen House, northwest chamber.
