Description:
AD))): Pechstein’s work depicts six figures. Two figures in the foreground sit on their backs with their legs in the air. The figures lie on benches that have green and black tops. A third individual does a handstand on the feet of the left-most lying down figure. Three figures stand in the background with their hands on their hips. The standing characters appear to be organized in descending order based on height: tallest to smallest from left to right. All individuals appear to be wearing the same clothes: pale red and black neck garbs and bottoms. Using the same darker green and black as the benches, the background resembles a forest with rolling hills and trees. The foreground is solid black except for the beige rectangle the figures stand in. The shape is outlined by the same pale red as the red in the clothing.
