Description:
Mahogany cabinet or case, filled with vials of medicinal remedies. When the two sides of the case are opened, fourteen glass bottles and one glass stopper are visible. The case has two drawers in the center panel. Most of the bottles are unlabeled and empty. A few bottles are marked quinine, ether, and malaria remedy. In the top drawer is a set of brass scales with weights measuring drams. In the bottom drawer are four more bottles and one more stopper. Two of the bottles contain powders.
