Description: The Virgin Mary and Child sit in the center of the composition in an architectural throne that extends to the sides behind the standing saints. The Virgin, in dark blue, red, and yellow garments, is surrounded by (left to right) Saints John the Evangelist with black eagle at left; Benedict, with book and flail; Jerome, with his red cardinal's hat; and Romuald, with a book and small model of church. The Christ child stands on the Virgin's lap, gesturing with his right hand. There is a pink tile floor in the foreground and a blue sky in the background.
