Obverse: four lines of Arabic inscription surrounded by a band with another band of Arabic text surrounding in margin. Two more bands in outer margin.
Obverse legend: Arabic in field (translation: "There is no god but God alone; He has no associate".) Arabic in margin.
Reverse: three lines of Arabic inscription surrounded by another band of Arabic text in margin. Four bands surround in outer margin.
Reverse legend: Arabic in field (translation: "God is one, God is eternal; He did not give birth and He was not born, and He has no equal".) Arabic in margin (translation: "Muhammad is the prophet of God; He sent him with guidance and the true religion to make it victorious over every religion, even if the associators [ie Christians] hate it".)
