Description:
Decorative iron fireplace, on four short feet. Oblong front piece, extending from warming grate. Column and vine designs around log space, with bulbous gold finials. Gold circles in each upper corner. Two log stands have heart in center. On the inside back of fireplace it reads: "Smith & Anthony Co. Boston. Mayflower 3" over a half-sun design. Small upper hole in back to connect to a flue.

SKINNER LABEL: Franklin Stove. Said to have been used in the orginal Mary Lyon Building, Mount Holyoke College.
