Description:
English delft circular plate with blue decoration. The well is decorated with a large daisy-like flower in the center flanked by scrolling grass stems, two large sgraffito leaves, arching floral spray on the left, and a large flying insect on the right. The curvature has a pattern of alternating diaper-work and stylized flower-heads in panels. The outer rim is encircled with a series of two dark blue semi-circles, one larger than the other, over a light blue band with a dark blue outer edge.
