Description:
English delft circular plate with blue and purple decoration. The rim is decorated with light sponged manganese; the center well has a blue form that can be described as a schematic oriental pavilion or futuristic pylon structure over a blue fence, with two flocks of blue birds flying overhead. The form is flanked by two light sponged manganese trees and sponged foliage in the foreground, all encircled with a blue band.
