Description:
Brass bell - oval shaped with a single slit across the bottom. Japanese characters inscribed on the top half. Red tassel on the top. Packed with a brass plate or stand, with a two characters on the bottom. This bell was associated with a Shinto shrine that was constructed in Mito, Japan in 1839. Associated with shrine model.
