Description: Early type percussion cap pistol, probably made over from flintlock. 9" round steel barrel, flattened on the sides at breech end, 19/32" smooth bore. Half checkered black walnut handle and half length stock. One double brass ramrod guide and 8 13/16" ramrod. Engraved brass trigger guard, bone inset washers on side screws. Flat hammer, nipple on barrel shaped plug. No markings.
