Description: A fine English flintlock pocket pistol. Round steel barrel, 3" long, smooth bore. Center action hammer. Safety catch to prevent the battery from opening. Black walnut curved handle, edges bevelled. Side lock plates are continuous with the barrel, are engraved with flags, spears, and arrows, and are marked BIELBY & CO on the left side, LONDON on the right. Two British proof marks on under side of barrel, both with crown and crossed lances, one with the letter V the other with BPC.
