Description: Turkish flintlock holster pistol. 12 5/8" round iron barrel, smooth bore. Dark hard wood handle and stock, carved and inlaid with fine silver wire. Stock extends 8 1/2" under barrel to meet a wide, elaborately repoussed, brass barrel band. Squared ball and nub butt, entirely covered with chased and repoussed brass. Engraved steel lock plate, trigger guard, and plate on opposite side. Round jawed hammer, with tiny grip points and vertically ridged battery. Weight: 38 ozs
