Description: Bifolium beginning first page with text in English and titled "The Description of the Tvrkish Empire." and opening to a detailed map. At the top of the page is a decoration with empty shield in center and symetrical design on each side with a horse, monkey, and snail. The text begins with the decorated initial "T" and continues onto the fourth page where it has a similarly designed bas-de-page. The map has borders on sides and top. Left border shows dress of the men from different regions and on the right is "HIS WIFE", the female counterparts to each. Along the top edge are eight small maps showing the important cities.
