Description: A vertical scene of a styalized waterfall cascating between two green hillsides. Gradation of blue appears in each level of the waterfall.
Label Text: Hiroshige II, who began his career using the name Utagawa Shigenobu, was the pupil and adopted son of the famous printmaker Hiroshige. His signature block is quite similar to that of his mentor and could be confusing to unwary collectors. This print is an excellent impression, carefully crafted by the printer, and its condition is outstanding, giving a good sense of the depth of color one should look for in an ukiyo-e print.
